Purchased a Sport 1100 Corsa about 5 weeks ago.
Had always wanted one, but for one reason or another missed the boat a couple of times.
Bike is a sound, well ridden (& looked after) example that sounds as sexy as she looks.
Have already put another 4,000k's on the clock, namely local rides - the normal haunts i.e. Mt Glorious, Mt Mee etc. plus the ride up from Cockroach land.
Am looking forward to riding with some other "Geese" (or should this be Gooses?) & will join club shortly.

If that is the one Tom had for sale, I wish to say I'm sorry now.

That was my DROOL all over the tank !

She is definitely one very sexy lady, every time I went in to Tom's I just could not keep my eye's off her. My Sophia started getting jealous in the end so I had to be satisfied by just a short glance (be it almost a perv) when I went in.

Hope she gives you many happy miles together.

Rgds
Pete

Thanks for the welcome, I'll try & make Wed. night work permitting.
It's not the bike from Newell's (that was one of the missed boats).
Tom tells me that one went south, so I have returned the favour & "imported" this one from cockroachland (specifically Batemans Bay in NSW).
Tom has already done couple of small repairs & has given the thumbs up.
Hoping to go for a ride tomorrow - should be at Glorious for lunch early afternoon.
Pete, you are right - she is sexy & like any good looking bird it is difficult to leave her alone in public without coming back to clean up the drool - I think I'll learn to carry a couple of rags.
Only trouble is she's a bit hard on the old back - especially Syd-Bris in one hit up Thunderbolts & the New England.
Must admit, I do love her never the less................

Know what ya ya mean about Thunderbolt's way, that first half heading north is best discribed as a bombing range. Sophia and myself came back that way from the GP last year, it was like riding over 50 miles of the worst cattle grids.
It left a lump in my throat ........... my right kidney.
But the sections that they had done up ..... well that made it all worth while.

Meeting is 7:30 pm sharp first Wednesday of the month, and as only a new member myself, great bunch of blokes. Hope ta see ya there.

Up the Mighty Red Bug Swatters, ya know what I mean.

Yeah, I'll probably go as well, I'm new to the club as well (well 10 or 11 years is new isn't it), they seem like a nice bunch of p*ss heads, except for that Vice President bloke, he's a bit of a wanker I've heard.

Welcome to the forum KAOS. Thats a nice bike for sure, it's one of those rare exotics that you must keep forever. Hope to catch up at a meeting or ride somewhere. Maybe if you are not busy drooling over your new mistress you could bring her along to tomorrow nights meeting. She would no doubt enjoy associating with her own kind :sweety: :guzzi:

As luck would have it, have just been called in for night shift tonight - unfortunately will not be able to attend club this time around.
Will try & make next month, however would love to go on a ride beforehand if there is anything is being arranged.

Geez wal
Ya gotta stop praising yourself up like that. :hysterical:
Which reminds me , who's shout is it for the rum??? :stout:

Oh yeah ,
Hi kaos ,welcome to the gaggle of gooses or something like that
and keep an eye on the stray ride section of the forum.
I'm doing a bit of exploring in the gold coast hinterland for less used tracks
for a sat/sun ride that doesn't take us all day and isn't patrolled :police: as
heavily as some, not that we'd do anything antisocial
(well wal might if you encourage him).
later swagzz

Hey Swagzz,

I'm on the northside of Brisvegas & haven't spent a lot of time exploring Gold Coast hinterland.
Have had some great rides in the past through Currumbin & Numinbah valley, Canungra & also through to Kyogle - but not for a long time.
Should we try & set something up for either Sat or Sun next weekend (or the one following)?

KAOS
