We should have silenced all responses to our club treasurer's question tonight, re dragging clutches (I had a girlfriend like that once), and insisted he post a question right here.
Now, how can we get the Pres to post something?

Although I'm not a member, I voted anyway. Once a week is not much to ask IMO.

Thanks for voting Waz.
The poll's a bit tongue-in-cheek of course, but it would be nice to see a few more people joining in on the Forum.
This was raised at last night's meeting.....we have plenty of registered Forum members, but a small number only who post.
At least we've had some good jokes recently!
And the govt's mail-out triggered a bit of a response.
Cheers.....

Na F#ck em,
Now that I'm no longer on ANY of the committee's, then I think that committee members should post at least once a day at the bare minimum.
In fact maybe they should be chained to their computers, with toothpick's holding their eyes open, hands gaffa taped to the keyboard, electrical stimulus attached to various tender parts of their bodies & the club forum set so that it can't be exited.
I have my hand up to impose these little prompts to the committee members.
Should I ever lose what sense of sanity I have left & go onto a committee again then all bets are off.

P#ssing meself about now & waiting to be told to f#ck off by various committee members (but hey I'm used to it & p#ssing people off has become something of a hobby to me).

P.S I didn't vote cause I thought it might p#ss somebody off,

HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE

Great idea, and best of all it imposes something on others and does not affect me. Wal, I'm starting to worry about you. You need to be careful about undertaking any electrical work if you are not a properly licensed electrical contractor. However, I can see that such people may not take on the kind of work you are looking to have done.

Just be sure to use lots of insulating tape and all should be fine

Hey Wal

Do you have that warm fuzzy feeling?

There's at least TWO people worried about you now!

And I think you should vote in the poll.

And you don't need to worry about recriminations from committee members.......they probably won't see any of this.

You should know by now that what people think or wish to think about me is not my problem, nor do I worry about it.

Do I feel warm & fuzzy?
Na.

If you want to start a poll about me, then do so.

Will I care?
Na.

Hi Bob K
I don't think there's a time limit on polls, is there, Administrator/Moderator?

And Wal
Hadn't thought about a poll about you, I just want you to VOTE in the one above!
Then again, could be interesting, but do you think this forum has become a self indulgent "divertissement" for a handful of regulars?
Keeps me off the streets, anyway.

No time limit on poll, so vote your heart out. As Hairy said, its all just a bit of fun anyway. There is an option to time limit these things so if we ever actually do a serious one that could be used.

As Mark has stated,
Presently we are not putting time limits on polls, maybe just for the sake of getting people accustomed to getting in & voting, we should start putting a time limit on all polls.
What do you think is a fair & reasonable time limit?, or should we have a poll?
Starting to enjoy myself right about now, as the inner sh#t stirrer is coming out.

As for the same people posting all the time, if it wasn't for them with both the serious posts & all the cross post banter, abuse, fun-poking, etc., then we probably wouldn't have any (or very few) posts at all.

Na post away, the more the merrier, if ya is all readin' this & ya ain't never posted cause ya think ya all got nothin' reasonable to say, then just post anythin', say what ya like, sh#t even have a go at the moderator, he's a real c#nt anyway & he'll probably have a go back at ya, in attempt to be funny.

It's everybody that posts that makes forums what they are, if it was all serious then it would be an informative but boring forum, on the other hand if the insults (all in good nature, of course. Personal character assassinations,or libel will not be tolerated), funny banter, little digs, rags, etc. happen quite regularly then it will be a lo more interesting (& it keeps Hairee of the streets, that has to be a good thing).

F#ck, enough of the soap box already, post away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re time limits on polls.....leave it to the discretion of the poll-poster, I say, unless, as said previously by Mark, it's an issue where a limit would be relevant.
I just want to see some of the bright sparks & wits out there making the time to respond, post topics of their own, inc polls, pics etc.
Even the jokes have dried up recently!
My BMW mates in Melbourne have provided more laughs than the Bris Guzzi Club lately.
We can't have that now, can we? :?

Hey leave them BWM or what ever the bloody initials are, alone.
If the had a proper chassis, a proper engine & proper cosmetics, they could actually be Cali's.
Oh hang on, they don't do they?

Ah go ahead let rip, disregard my previous statement.

And they do have saggy tits don't they?
