Going to try for a run up to Maleny on Sunday to the Historical Maleny Cycle Club Qld swap meet.
Meet at
7-30 at Shell Granard road
8-30 BP Connect northbound hiway caboolture
route after that is up to discussion

Is that at the Maleny showgrounds?
I might meet you there. I'm just down on the coast from there.
Some good roads in the vicinity but watch yourself on a Sunday. There are often traffic police patrolling. I saw a motorcycle cop with a radar gun just near Mary Caincross Reserve a while back.
Stanley River Road is good and so is the ride out to Imbil via Witta and Kenilworth.
If the destination isn't that important then Mt Glorious, Somerset, Kilcoy, Woodford via VillineuveRd, towards Peachester, at the top of the range left into Stanley River Road to Maleny is a good route but it will take a while.
A fair bit of road works on the highway between Kilcoy-Woodford at the moment.

If I'm coming on the ride, I'll be @ Granard Rd in plenty of time.
Visitors arriving from interstate, without their 'bike, so not sure wot's happening yet.

Ok ,not a problem and I actually put some planning into this .
Wife pulled out the diary with the wish list of rides i want to do
and events that are on.

And a good time was had by all....thanks swagzz and Mrs swagzz.
Quite a few Guzzisti were out and about and in the area yesterday, didn't see any Plod, dodged the roadworks, and somebody even found an excellent pair of boots at a good price at the swap meet.

They cost me a $100 and they don't even fit me .  Ah well at least she won't get wet feet.
