Wondering how to show off your pictures on the forum. You cannot actually load the file to the forum but you can link to it. First off you'll need to be set up on one of the many free picture hosting sites on the internet. I use Photobucket http://photobucket.com/ but there are others around, do a search on Google to find them.

So how to post a picture? Its easy, you use the Img button as shown in the picture below. Click on the button, this will put two tags no your post, you then type or paste in the URL between the tags. Basically these tags tell the forum that it needs to display a picture in the post. This is exactly how the picture below was inserted into this post. If you are using something like Photobucket it will put the tags on for you so you just copy/paste the link direct from that site into your post.


Want to include a link to a website in your post? It is a similair procedure, only we use the URL button. This is how the link to Photobucket.com at the start of this post was done.

It's a good idea to preview your post before submitting it to make sure it looks right. Submitted it and then found a problem? No worries, you can edit your posts anytime. Just click on the edit link in your post and make your changes. When you're happy with it, hit submit to save it to the forum.

Most importantly, don't be afraid to have a go. If you're not sure how to do something and can't find an answer, feel free to ask. Most forum users are always happy to help others and share hints and tips.

I'm planning to do a few such posts. If you want to know just about anything about using the forum the FAQ link at the top of the page is the place to go. Unlike most FAQ pages this one is user friendly and has great info.

Ha ha, thanks heaps Mark, I started a photobucket account myself , easy as no stress at all.
And to celebrate I actually managed to post a picture in the Norge forum of our site.
Gotta tell you guys this forum stuff isn't hard at all if ya just have a bit of a bash at it. We'll all laugh at ya if ya stuff it up but hey if we can't laugh at each other then who can we laugh at.
