Welcome. Please read our rules, they are mostly common sense and are designed to make this a friendly place for all. We also do not want to breach our user agreement and lose our free forum, so do the right thing. Registering as a forum member indicates acceptance of these rules. Thanks, and enjoy the forum.


(1) Before posting, make use of the board search feature! You get there by clicking the 'search' button. The search feature is self-explanatory, so with a bit of practice you will quickly find what you want. Using the search feature will avoid multiple threads dealing with the same subject.

(2) Only post in the forum that matches your topic! The board is divided into several forums with sub-forums. If you pay attention and read the titles of the forums, you should be able to figure out which forum to post in. Make use of the search function if you are unsure about where to post. Repeatedly violating this rule will result in a warning from an admin.

(3) No double and/or cross-posting in different forums! Double and cross posting results in off-topic threads. Generally, your post isn't important enough to be posted into different forums. Violating this rule will result in a warning from an admin. Extreme spamming can cause your banning entirely from the site.

(4) Any new thread must have a title with relevant information to the topic you want to discuss. The name of a thread is just like the headline in a newspaper; it helps you to select threads personally relevant for you. Thread titles that use shock value or humor or any other attempt to get extra attention should be avoided. Repeatedly ignoring this rule will result in a warning from an admin.

(5) If you want to address a member personally, write an email to that person or make use of the 'private message' (PM) feature. Private communication on the forum is forbidden. This is not a chat room. The forum contains versatile PM capabilities. Simply clicking on the PM button on different locations will send a PM to the specific member. Incoming PMs are usually immediately displayed on the screen using JavaScript (a "pop-up"). In addition, you have a PM button at the bottom of the pages.

(6) There is absolutely no room for slander, insults, and bashing here! Keep a civil tone to your posting! Abuse of fellow forum members will not be tolerated. Do not forget that you are communicating with human beings. Remember: treat others as you want to be treated. Breaking this rule can result, depending on the severity of the violation, in a warning by administrator, temporary ban on posting, or a total ban from the site.

(7) Advertisement and corporate/business spamming are not allowed on this forum! No advertisements for personal/business homepages are permitted! This is a club forum, not your advertisement space. The only exception for this rule is in your signature (within reason). Ignoring this rule will result in a warning from an admin or a ban from the site.

(8) 'Pushing' or bumping' threads is not allowed! In other words, do not post solely in order to make a thread "rise to the top" of the forum. If your thread has no response, then after a reasonable amount of time feel free to respond in case it was just missed. This is better than and preferred over reposting the same thread. Breaking this rule will result in a warning from an admin.

(9) ABSOLUTELY NO: cheats, warez, software cracks, advertisements (personal or business), insults to individuals, groups, or nationalities, anti-Semitism, terrorism, pornography etc. Links to any pages containing the topics mentioned above are prohibited as well. The administrators reserve the right to add to this list. This applies to the entire site. Don't do it, you will be banned.

(10) All board rules WILL be obeyed! If you have any complaints or questions regarding these rules, please contact a site administrator or moderator. Failure to follow these rules can result in anything from warnings to outright bans from the site. Keep it clean and keep it focused on Moto Guzzi.
