Its my second second Guzzi. First was Mk1 Lemans sold in 1984 (regrettable move but required), its taken years to back to a real bike again, riding a number a different bikes for short periods in between. This time a Stelvio - great bike, I am very impressed. Still learning a new riding style not used to sitting up so straight.

For those that failed to attend the last club meeting, there was in fact a Stelvio present.

Welcome Septic, I do believe you are our first Stelvio owner. Catch up with you at a meeting or ride sometime.

you should take a new V7 for a blast Hairee, lots of fun but my hefty carcass
desires a larger platform. I'll stick with the G .

If Wal wanted to test ride a Stelvio he's already been offered, Wal can get a test ride on nearly any Guzzi, except for a certain Tenni owned by someone whom shall remain nameless, it's not as though I've not ridden a V11 it's just that the Tenni & the Lemon are the only 2 V11's that Wal hasn't ridden.

I'm not game to take one for a ride......I'd want one even more.
Driving past Tom's at least once every day, it's driving me nuts with that V7 Cafe in view! It is neat looking!

That said.......you need to remember I am not exactly unhappy with the Breva!!

Would love to have a complete "set", with a Classic and a Cafe parked alongside in the garage.

Just try and console yourself that besides cosmetics they are virtually the same bike as your Breva. :thumb:

If you are determined to be miserable about it then just think about how the introduction of the two new models has dropped the bottom out of the Breva's re-sale value.

I hate that V7 Classic and the Cafe!

But hang on! I don't want to sell the Breva!

Still want a set of three that means.....plus a 1200S, and a Norge, and a Stelvio(?), hmm, maybe, why not?....and a "real" classic or two, just to make Al envious, and a red Griso so I might understand what swagzz keeps on about, and even a Cali of some sort, just so I can join the Cali Club and get a t-shirt, and a..........well, you understand....same old story.....too many bikes, not enough $'s, and not enough time to ride 'em all!

750 Breva is still the one for me, but then, I'm a loyal sort of guy. After all, I've barracked for St Kilda all my life! Fortius Quo Fidelius.

Thanks for the rowdy welcome all - nice to be back.

:guzzi: Yes that was my Stelvio at last months meeting and I will be there next week - Hairee

Yes Mark909 a ride would be great. I have been doing the Mt Mee / Mt Glorious circuit to get some k's up each Saturday, its a bit of fun. I went up to the ObiObi road couple of weeks ago - its little like Campbells Pocket road or Clear Mountain road in parts. At least I can get to wear all the tread a bit :race:

I am still working out how this Forum stuff works. :computer: - shit happens :censor:
