have had a few guzzis gave them up for a stint in vmx and track days for a number of years great fun but missed those road trips. my last guzzi was a mk111 lemans great bike not suited for long distance for some one with crook knees unfortunatly. the bellagio is responsable for my reinterest in moto guzzi . if any one can give me a good reason why i should not get one ,dont bother all ready made up my mind. good to be back. any one want a cbr 600 track bike???????

Go Guzzi Go Can't think of any reason why you shouldn't buy a Bellagio.....except it's not a Breva 750! Nevertheless, you should enjoy it immensely. Will we see it at a club function/ride? Welcome to the Forum.......beware of The Moderator, I believe he bites! North or South Bayside, ramjet?

Welcome ramjet,
The only guy I know with a Bellagio is Pat and he seems more than happy with it. I'm sure you'll love it!

Suited me returning to bikes after a long absence.....wasn't sure what type of riding I'd be doing.....wanted new, not 2nd-hand so price was right......easy to handle.....enough get up and go for me.....still able to keep up on Club rides and have fun on the twisty bits......runs on the smell of an oily rag....and I'd always wanted a Guzzi. Realise it's way down on power compared to the bigger models, but thought I'd be "sensible" until it's time for my 1200 Sport????

Mate of mine has a Bellagio and a V7, loves them both, but prefers the Bellagio for touring (due to the extra grunt for overtaking) and the V7 in the twisties.Having said that, he reckons that after fitiing staintunes to the V7 it pulls a lot harder in top.Now I'm just waiting for him to fit them to the Bellagio.

Pat, who Mark909 mentioned, was at Morgan Park today, but rode his Cali up (for the comfort???....these old guys, I dunno). As I was leaving, a guy came and asked me about the Breva. He has an older small block Guzzi, but was on his Bellagio today, which he seemed pretty happy with. Yes, I agree, ramjet......too many Guzzis, not enough $'s!!!

Sorry to bring the tone of the forum down, but as an ex-driver of strange European vehicles (2, 4 & 6 wheels) I have a little experience in this field.
A long time ago, well before I lost my hair, my freedom & my will to live (read negotiate with the wife) - I met a wholesome young lady of Eastern European descent in a dark alley in central Prague. She offered me Bellagio (at least that's what I thought she said, something may have been lost in translation).......... Thinking a nice red or silver bike was going real cheap, I naturally followed her into a seedy, poorly lit grotto. Imagine my surprise when this lady of the night offered something entirely different on the menu. When I drift into the nostalgia of how good I was, I remember those 3 short minutes with a tinge of regret. What if I hung around longer & took up the offer to meet with her again? Would I have found an 1100 Corsa in central Europe?
Now before you scoff (& Wal bans me from the Forum). My Bellagio was served as a double shot with 2 sugars & a very special cookie on the side.
The point of this pointless story! Great bike - s*&t house name - buy it & love her, however, if you do you may just have to put up with a few jokes along the way.
Now where's the missus - I wonder what I can do to entice/con her into a few minutes of Bellagio - just for old-time sake...........

Bellagio- Is the the town where the 3 parts of Lake Como come together, just north/west of the town of Mandello del Lario, in the Triangolo Lariano region.
I can't think of any other meaning, I checked in my dictionary & can't see any 'correct' meaning.
What the 'lady' said to you was probably some local slang.
Wal bans you from the forum?
I cannot remember Wal banning or suspending anyone from the forum to date.
I was told I had alzheimer's but I'm farked if I can remember where I left it.

I've just had a small thought, I might get a new job naming motorcycles
Some appropriate names based on real towns that I'd love to see on a bike are as follows:
The Harley-Davidson "Weiner" (named after a small town in Arkansas) Or maybe a Triumph "Twatt" (another small town this time in the UK) Ducati's next Superbike could be "Te Puke" (near Tauranga in NZ) Or my favorite the Honda "F*&cking" (yes there really is such a place in Austria).
I suppose Bellagio is not so bad after all - but then again my better half keeps telling me to move to "Bald Knob" (for some stange reason she thinks this is funny?)
