Short Notice ride for any Mid - weekers........
As I am still slightly unemployed (I've worked more in the last 2 weeks than before I was made redundant) - I thought it may be a good idea for a quick mid week ride - bugger it, I need a day off & the old girl has a brand spankers set of new tyres.
The Date: Tuesday 15th Sept.
The plan: Meet at BP servo at the GAP (Waterworks Rd) at 11.00am
The proposed route: The Gap, up through Nebo to Maiala (for a quick coffee & some food). From there it is open, though I'd suggest the loop down towards Fernvale then north past Somerset through to Kilcoy & then back over the top of Mt Mee. Finishing up with an ale at Dayboro. There are a few back roads (that shall remain nameless) seemingly less policed & some good fun can be had along the way.
Meet at either the Gap servo or if you prefer Maiala tea house from around 11.30.
Weather forcast looks good.
