Last year when oil reached $120 USD per barrel, we were paying around $1.40 per litre. And bare in mind the exchange rates were about the same as now.
Then WTF are we paying $1.35 a litre when oils is just $70 a barrel USD. ?????????

He's my thoughts.

The Gumnut is broke, they've pissed up money they never had and money they hoped they were going to get 10 years from now (Minning royalties) plus the last Stimulus package will take us 19 years to pay back and you can see how much of a hole we are in.
The taxes and GST they get off fuel, plus the commissions they get from Power, Rates etc. is the only way they can claw back some credibility and money. Can anyone say they are happy with there current rates notice ??? And they are cutting services now we in Pine Rivers have become part of the Bigger Morten Council. Our council was nearly in the black, but now we have the inherited debt of the others to drag us under. So rates go up ....... services down, that's one way to get money.

Power (Electricity) look at that this joke ....... who owns the power stations ....... the Gumnut. They fix the price of power and sell it to the Deregulated Providers, who in turn bill us. Now the Gumnut gets charges for GST twice, the higher charges in the first place and what do we get ....... BROKE and they get more money.

I suppose we voted them in, we only get what we deserve. We are the bill payers for there fiscal mis-management so why not tax the crap outa us to pay for there idiot ideas and then give them bonuses and top notch super packages.

Maybe my past rants are starting to make sense ...... the-new-dob-in-a-criminal-day-t345.html

The Gumnut (as you so kindly call them) are simply a bunch of Pirates led by Capn Bligh - don't get me started on Messrs KRUDD & Swanee. Who, or where are our choices?

More locally, you think Pine Rivers is hard done by - our rates at Redcliffe went up $200 in the half year & they don't clean the barbies down the beach anymore - the barstools. Let's hope Major Sutherland is a good electrician, he may need it if the dills that are forced to vote grow one or two brain cells (have you heard the 16 year olds may get the vote)-should improve KRUDDS inter nests - whatever .

Now let me get onto the M A N.
Bastards made me reducable or replaceable or something like that today. After ringing me on Saturday arvo to work Sunday (cause those wiser than I said p**s off). Barstools, & I was stupid enough to have done it, missed a ride on the big red girl as well - never the less...........

Not much work in cranes & construction - lay-offs everywhere as the gumnut & it's contradictators wind up projects (they call it finishing I think), should have just worked a bit more efficiently i.e. slower & I'd still be in a job. Looks like it might be back to the drivin wheels -there are worse ways to earn a crust I spose - please no interstate - please. Just as I bregrin to drownn me sorrows- Amazed to view 2 ads from Qld Gumnut on creating jobs in BriVegas (on the box) - a wise move if ever I saw one - lets use some of my hardearned taxpayer $$$ on that (promoting me would be better) the barstools probably cost us at least 1 more job.

Politicianazi's, the Q-cops & real estate agents give me the irrit's -don't get me started. None of them are competant -hmmm this just gave me an idea - a Guzzi in the house of reps or KAOS in the game of estates????????????????

Anyway thats me done.

Life Just Handed me another bag of lemons, I think I need some Tequila (bugger the salt).

KAOS.

Do you guys not understand anything about anything?

The government has nothing to do with the price of petrol, the ACCC has looked into petrol pricing numerous times & found that the government policies have no bearing on petrol prices at all.

The petrol companies have nothing to do with the price of petrol, the ACCC has looked into petrol pricing numerous times & found that the petrol companies are NOT engaged in price fixing of petrol.

The retail price of petrol is not tied to the price of crude oil, well it is when the price of crude oil per barrel goes up, but will not alter significantly when the price of crude oil drops as there are other factors that come into play.

The retail price of petrol is not tied to the value of the Australian Dollar, well it is when the dollar goes down, but will not alter significantly when the value of the dollar increases as there are other factors that come into play.

The retail price of petrol is kept in line with the current retail price of petrol in Hong Kong, Singapore, Manilla or somewhere else, this is done to protect Australian trade & the positive impact on the economy.

This attitude that the government &/or the petrol companies (including the retail supermarket giants) are ripping us off at the bowser is total nonsense, as I have just explained.

:iamwithstupid:

I have been happy to take this time to explain to all of you silly people why you should be quite happy to pay the price of petrol that is currently charged at the bowser. :thankyou:

Yours truly,

Wal,
Cali Public Relations

Yes I've changed jobs & have just taken up a multi-million dollar contract with the petrol companies & the government to 'explain' to you idiots why you should stop whinging about the fact that the lovely people in the government & petrol companies are happy to extract every last dollar they can from you. :computer:

What can one say in response to that eloquent explanation? I couldn't even find any typos or naughty words.
Has somebody hacked into the moderator's account for political purposes?
So what can I say.....Wal for Assistant Dictator perhaps?
As long as there is no enforced Cali ownership......they use too much petrol!
Although I would happily accept a Cali donated by the Assistant Dictator, now that he has his new multi-million dollar contract, and I think Dictator swagzz would allow me to keep the Breva, although I think he would insist on fitting louder pipes.
He might consider free Grisos to all worthy recipients.
Most people posting here seem to be politically correct......any number of us could do a better job than the present, and would-be, incumbents.
The best known motorcyclist amongst them has just announced his retirement, I see.
swagzz could maybe recruit him, if he bought a Guzzi??

Under a benevolent dictator, this could always change.

Wal seems to have a good job at the moment so he's right for graft
and since the Flux Capaciatator is stuffed I'm going to have to keep paying Wal's
fair and just petrol prices.
what the hell would I want with a politician , retired or otherwise
Anyway I'm a Benevolent Dictator so just let the poor silly bastard ride his honda in
ignorant bliss of Guzzi's
