8 more big sleeps until the Laverda Concourse, and as I have been on the wrong shifts at work, missed the last meeting. Will we be there .......
Will I be there, as my last service went into over time somewhat .................

Blank what out ............

Been a busy boy today, new (modified 2nd hand) swingarm in with new bearings and some other bits and peices back in place. Hopefully the wheels come out of the oven with the paint on them this time. 1st effort more bubles than the Neverland Ranch. Progress update, gunna be a couple late nights this week .........

The reason for this depth of dispair ....... the bad earth was in this round 16 pin plug under the tank (you'd never think that was it) and if ya gunna do a job right, so after gutting the loom, I looked at the wheels, then the swing arm, then the rocker covers , then ,then, ya get the picture. If ya think this is bad, you should see a major service .................
Oh well, back to the shed .........

Well Sophia made it in all her glory, but the judges didn't smile upon her, the competition was fierce.
At least all the nice people were at the Guzzi tent. Good to catch up again.

:argue: Bastards !!! No bloody taste at all. Luckily I did not subject Tennille the Tenni to their prying eyes. She was happier to be with her own kind at the club display. I have to say I had a very enjoyable day out, I even enjoyed constantly saying no to Wal every time he wanted the keys for Tennille :bash: You really gotta admire his persistence.

It was great to see club members getting involved and helping out with our display. We signed up two new members that I know of, sold a bit of merchandise, and generally tried to convince anyone who got within range that they really needed a Guzzi. BTW has anyone heard how Al got on in his class? Very tight contest but I reckon he'd have to have walked away with something for the mantle place.

Ok, you mob. The Club Laverda show has been & gone, I am not doing a write up as my thoughts were a little elsewhere, but if someone else would like to do a bit of a write up on their thoughts on the day please feel free.
Yes I did pester someone about taking their Tenni for a ride, I don't really want to but I've been ragging them about their Norge for so long I thought it was time to pump their ego up some.

I rode Mick's V7 (well that's what it started out as) from the carpark to the display, I was warned about being careful because it's geared high with the convert bevel box & I must say it was very easy to ride slow, with feet on pegs through a crowd of people. It's a lovely bike, Mick spent an absolute fortune on doing it up, due to some difficulties Mick has to sell it now. If I had the money I would buy it myself, he did warn me that it was rather dear when I first asked him about the 'for sale' sign on the front, he was apologetic, me thinks that he'd like it to go to a fellow Guzzista rather than some random collector, so if you have some loose spendies & would like a fairly rare thing there should be an ad in the traders section of the website. The is also a pic of it on my photobucket, along with about 70 other pics I took on the day.

If you didn't go & want to see what you missed or you went but didn't wander the streets looking for those little morsels that were hidden from view, here's the link---

Yeah, I wouldn't know at times, I take so many photos at these things & the post them up on the photobucket, I'm waiting for someone to have a whinge for putting up a pic of their bike without asking. Most guys have the same reaction as you, for some strange reason someone else's pics of your bike are better than your own, I still buggered if I can work out why.
I need to go in & see how many visits it's had since the last post.

I farkin started a photobucket account for the club but I am not sure that I remember the pass word or exactly how I worded the album name. :computer:
