Don't think I'll make it to the meeting this week, but I hope someone suggests a ride to the Historic races at Morgan Park.
I'm hoping to head up on Sunday at least, passing by the Mobil @ Amberley(?) about 8 a.m. or soon after. :moped:

Only if you are boring enough to go via the main highway :coolgleam:

I'm hoping to go and will head up via Boonah and Queen Mary Falls.

This sounds a better proposition.
Will wait and see if anything "official" is organised at the meeting tomorrow night.

No one wished to actually commit to a time, Tony K is going to the RU test the night before so depending on alcohol consumption, he hopes to be at the servo at Boonah at 8am on the Sunday.

Just to explain to those without a motor trades background.

U/S means un-servicable, in the case of a Griso it could also mean utter shite.

Is this code for "thinking of buying a Breva"?
Or does it involve connecting a laptop to the Griso, and you got it all wrong?
:compute:

My plan ATM is to LEAVE the Mobil Amberley at 8am to go via Boonah, Queens Mary Falls to Morgan Park. See you if you're there.

Just home from a great night out ("Idea of North" at the Powerhouse)
Not setting the alarm......will see if I make it to the Mobil....I suspect I'll be catching up to everyone at Morgan Park though

Had a great day out....a handful of Club Members met up at the track....had a look through the pits, watched racing from a few different vantage points, and I suspect some photos will turn up on the web-site or in the annual magazine.
The "Period 3" (1946-'62) Seniors got the thumbs up from everyone I think.....a big field of mostly British 500 singles.
The rumble was sensational.
I hung around long enough to see Robbie Phillis blitz 'em in the Period 5 ('73-'80) Unlimited. Some very fast lap-times, close to the track record :race:
Only downer was discovering Steve Harney's bike in the pits, with some damage from an off......no sign of him at the time, so we didn't get to see him out racing, or hear what happened :(
Any news, anyone?
