Hi All
As mentioned in a couple of threads now (sorry to bore you all) but I have just purchased a Le mans MK V. It is a 1993 model.
It has quite a few chips on lower forks as well as on the the wheels & side covers so paint job will be underway over the next few months but aside from that it appears in good condition.
I was wondering if anyone could help me with identifying what an original Mk V of that year looked like ie mirrors, blinkers, etc etc. I have surfed the web & found images of Mk V's up to 1989 which show differnces to mine such as my bike has fully painted wheels where all the bikes I saw had wheels with painted centres & polished rims.
Once again thanks for your help.
By 1993 they were selling off the last of the 1000 Le Mans models and so they released a "limited edition" of the final 200 made, the one I saw was painted red, with all red wheels fork lowers main and side stand as well as frame. I suspect it may be one of these, is there a metal badge on the cover for the top triple clamp with a no./200 on it? If there is it will definitely be one of the last 200 made. Apart from the paint job i don't think there was anything different from the usual MkV's.
