We have some ride details to share from tonight's club meeting. If you would like some company on the way to the rally there are groups going on Friday and Saturday. Friday - Leaving the Mobil Amberley at 8am, via Boonah, Queen Mary Falls (weather permitting). Hairee and I will be on this one, not sure who else at this stage. Saturday - Leaving the McDonalds Yamanto at 7am, via Casino, Tenterfield etc. (As you can see this is not a direct route. If you're not in a rush to get there and want to get in some riding this could be for you). See you at the Budgie

I'll be heading off from the Sunshine Coast near Mooloolaba at about 6.00am on Friday. I plan to go via Landsborough, Bald Knob, Villeneuve, Kilcoy, Somerset, Esk, Gatton, MaMa Creek, Allora then Warwick by about 10.30. Meeting a mate on his black MK II near the Matilda servo before heading to the site via Stanthorpe and Pikedale.

The weather forecasts look good. Cold (as always), clear, with frosts in the mornings. Is anyone else joining us for the ride down on Friday? Should be a good run. I'm planning to stop for fuel on the highway at Stanthorpe and then toddle next door to the Old Caves Winery for some rally medicine  then on to the site via the back road if I can find the turnoff. See you all there
