Hi ron, I dont own a griso but a 2003 V11. I run standard filters bought from Tom and now use aussie oil - Penrite full synthetic. I find auto barn has the best range. spoon

As an 100 Sport rider (or having the privilege to pay for one's upkeep) and the fact that we travel this wide brown land (GP jaunts every 2nd year) I am using the Penrite HPR 15 semi synthetic as it is a good oil and available everywhere. Nothin worse than havin to carry oil when traveling cause ya can't be certain you'll be able to get it when ya need it. Although I do use Amsoil for the box and diff as it can't be beaten for quality and I have never needed to top it up between services.

Sorry for what are probably questions that have been adressed before, I'm back to bikes after approx 20 years. Previous Bikes were, cb 500 x 2, Z9's x2, Suzuki 650 katana [still have shim tool for it], Z1100A. Its a real pisser one has to wait so long to afford a real bike !

I now use Penrite SIN15 15W-40.
Discussed this weight of oil with Tom and he OK'd it.
I was using AMS before this change but I prefer to put my money in an Aussie pocket.
Meets the following standards:
US API SL/CF EURO ACEA A3/B4
Can't find anything in my owners book that mentions oil standards, just weights.
