Too bloody right. we were there a few years ago. Toured the South island in a camper van of all things, it seemed a good idea at the time :doh:

The roads, the scenery, just amazing. I would love to do it again on a bike. the place is just made for it.

I was in Auckland, working for a couple of weeks.
Had a weekend free in the middle, so did a ferry trip on the Saturday to Coromandel, then went back by road the next day, in the company car I had.
A guy I was working with rides, and the Coromandel Peninsula was his private IOM before the traffic started to increase.
No wonder most of the Kiwi riders I've known over the years are good riders.
I was hoping for some input re the Convert. Wondered if I'd stumbled on a rarity?
