Hi all,
I have just got my first bike and landed a very nice 05 Nevada!
I was looking for something sporty, but my grandfather offered me his pride and joy, how could i refuse.
Naturally i have fallen in love with it and am keen to learn all i can about my new toy! So if anyone has any advice or reccomendations please sing out...
BTW, which of the below categories (loop frame etc...) do i fall into? I know nothing (yet) about Guzzis, but am inspired.
Thanks
James

G'day James, welcome to out little piece of the net. I think you may be our first Nevada owner. As for where your bikes fits down below, well at the moment I guess nowhere. Sorry about that, my bad. I shall dash off now and create a section for all the small block bikes. This will probably make Hairy happy too.

James,
I bought my Guzzi because I was sick of being confused for "just another high volume bike owner".

Even in the world of V11's (one of the most ubiquitous models on our roads) the Ballabio I ride is one of 25 in Australia. And, that is a lot!

So revel in the fact that you will be an oddity and peculiarity for some, and an interesting fascination for others!

Also, the sound is sweeeeeeet!

Enjoy!

Tryg

Hi James,
Saw your post last night but hesitated to communicate out of fear of putting my foot in it.
I had no idea of your bike's "ancestry". Good on Mark for clearing that up.
But the important thing is, you own a GUZZI!!

SO G'DAY JAMES

Greetings all,
The Nevada is listed as a detached tubular frame, if my memory serves me correctly that description applies to the Tonti framed bikes, in fact if you place a Nevada next to a Cali & ignore body panels you will see that the frames are quite similar.
I'm sure that Rod or Al will correct me if I'm not correct.

From a personal note & I know I've said this before, but, I really like the Neva's, a bloody great commuter bike & I'd have one myself for the daily hack & they are not a girl's bike, like many seem to insist on calling them (The 750 Breva's are the girl's bike!).

Laughing me arse off at Hairee now!

Thanks for the warm wlcome. I read somewhere that Guzzi made 5000 bikes in 05, so its a rare prize i have (if the data is true). She will be used as a daily ride to work and i dont care if anyone says its a girls bike..... i love it!
Just need to remove the Ulysses club sitcker...... i wont qualify for some time! :D
The more i read and see of the brand, i cant believe why id never looked at them. Well i can actually, never thought i could afford one and they are too "cool" for me.

Yeah swagzz,
I may or may not be 'cool', but don't go telling anyone, everybody thinks I' an absolute bastard, I've worked real hard to keep that reputation.
